August 31, Sept. 1, & 2, 2012 Annual jamboree at Addison Town Hall in Veterans’ Park, 127 1st St., Allenton, admission $3; starts Friday 11 AM to 10 PM, fish fry 4:30 PM to 9 PM, bands play simultaneously in two halls, pavilion, and on the grounds; Saturday 11 AM to 10 PM, food and bands; Sunday 11 AM to 7 PM, food and bands, free parking & overnight parking for campers. Memorial Go-Kart:
Sept. 8, 2012 4th Annual Memorial Go-Kart event at Slinger Super Speedway, 240 Cedar Creek Rd., Slinger; gates open at 4 PM. This community building project supports youth and families; a positive, educational go-kart building and racing experience for youth ages 10 to 18; a mentoring opportunity for racing professionals and community volunteers.
