Concertina Festival at Addison Town Hall in Veterans’ Park in Allenton, admission $3, starts Friday 11 AM to 11 PM, fish fry 4:30 PM to 9 PM, bands play simultaneously in two halls, pavilion, and on the grounds; Saturday 11 AM to 11 PM, food and bands; Sunday 11 AM to 7 PM, food and bands, free parking & overnight parking for campers. Sept. 11: Memorial Go-Kart Event at Slinger Super Speedway, 240 Cedar Creek Rd, Slinger; 3rd annual; gates open at 4 PM. This community building project supports youth and families; a positive, educational go-kart building and racing experience for youth ages 10 to 18; a mentoring opportunity for racing professionals and community volunteers.
